Summary 5: "Ghosts stories"

British people loves horror stories and films.
Two famous horror characters are:
Frankenstein's monster and Dracula were created by British writers. Bram Stoker thought of the story of Dracula when he was sitting in a cemetery. He saw some sunlight fall on a crack in the lid of a tomb and he imagined that the light might wake up the dead body inside. Some fans of horror stories enjoy taking a guided tour around London.


Summary 4: "Law"

The most popular police station in Britain is New Scotland Yard, but there are a lot more.
Outside every police station has a blue light to show they're police stations.
For most people, the police are the face of the law. They can arrest people, but they give information, too.
When a suspect arrives to a police office, they hand over everything he's carrying. Then, they take fingerprints check person's identity. Next, the suspect stay for a night in cell, and next day three magistrates listened to the suspect, for saying if he's guilty or not.

Also, the police uses horses in football matches and demonstrations.

Supermarkets are popular in Britian.
Tesco, Sainsburg and Asda are the three most popular supermarkets in Britian, because they sell the 80% of the total groceries of Britian.
You can buy there food, drink, toys. CDs, DVDs and games.
Online buying its becoming so popular in Britian, becose is convenient and quick.
Center chops are closing because are so expensive and you can't use cars to buy it.

Summary 2: "Soap Opera"




Soap opera are so important in England. They usually talk about ordinary people, and they are usually three to five episodes each week.
Eastenders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale are all very popular soap operas on British TV. They appear several times a week and millions of people watch them.
Fans of the shows can also buy special soap opera magazines previews week. In the magazines, they can read every of next week's shows.

Summary 1: "SCOTLAND"


Scotland is one of the four main regions of Britain. It occupies about one third of the total land area in Britain, but has got only the 9% of the total population. Most of the people live in the country side. Scotland has got some unusual traditions. Scottish men sometimes wear a kilt rather than trousers. There is a traditional Scottish sport called Highlands Games. Scotland is famous for his whiskeys. Whiskey is a strong spirit made from barley yeast and water.
